The solution was implemented to provide the incentive awards to their internal employees based on various criteria around their performance. Prior to the ODM solution, they had all the rules implemented in Embedded Main frames application, Since the rules were changing every year the customer need to incur cost to maintain the main frame application for every year so to reduce ongoing IT cost, make it more flexible and empower the business, the customer has decided to redevelop the entire application using Java and ODM. ODM has been leveraged to implement various plan specific rules including Calculations and Eligibility.
